Bookkeeper
Our firm is looking for a Bookkeeper to handle the day to day accounting operations of our busy commercial general contracting firm. Our firm has been in business for over 50 years, specializing in school and municipal construction. We are in need of an individual who is a self starter and who can multi task in a fast pace environment.
Bookkeeper Job Responsibilities:
- Perform account receivable functions including invoicing, deposits, collections and revenue recognition.
- Perform all activities related to the accounts payable function including reviewing payments, getting authorization, and processing payments.
- Perform payroll functions in an accurate and timely manner.
- Prepare weekly statements for the Owners review.
- Prepare financial reports for the accountants on monthly, quarterly and yearly basis.
- Assist the accountants with information for financial statements and yearly audit.
- Providing subcontractors with Change Orders
- Providing contracts to subcontractors
Bookkeeper Qualifications / Skills:
- Must be proficient in Excel, Word, Outlook.
- Knowledge of AIA G702/G703 Billings a plus

Education, Experience, and Licensing Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field perferred
- Previous construction bookkeeping experience preferred
- 2-3 years of previous bookkeeping experience.
